The highlight of the experience is the Treetop Walk. This 1.5-kilometre rainforest trail includes a 500-metre-long elevated steel walkway, suspended up to 30 metres above the forest floor. As you wander through the treetops, you’ll be surrounded by towering eucalyptus trees, vibrant tree ferns and native birdlife.
The Illawarra Rainforest is home to a wide range of native flora and fauna. You may spot the treetop habitats of Tawny Frogmouths, Possums and Gliders. The forest is home to the majestic Lyrebird, which you can't always see but their distinctive call is unmistakable.

This exhilarating guided experience lets you glide between tree platforms, flying up to 35 metres above the forest floor. It’s the highest zipline in Australia, and a fun, adrenaline-pumping, eco-friendly way for visitors to learn about the rainforest.
Open year-round, the attraction is accessible and family-friendly, with interactive displays and plenty of scenic spots nearby to relax after your treetop adventure. The Illawarra Fly Visitor Centre has a cosy café serving coffee, snacks and light meals, and the gift shop boasts locally made goods and eco-friendly souvenirs.
Illawarra Fly Treetop Adventure is located on Knights Hill, approximately 12 minutes drive from Robertson, via Jamberoo Mountain Road.
Illawarra Fly’s famous Treetop Walk is a leisurely 1.5-kilometre loop track featuring a 500-metre elevated steel walkway that takes visitors 20 to 30 metres above the lush forest floor.
Most visitors to Illawarra Fly spend around an hour enjoying the Treetop Walk. You can spend longer if you take the Illawarra Fly Zipline Tour - a guided tour through a series of elevated cable spans and suspension bridges which you zip along, similar to a flying fox.
All visitors can enjoy the Treetop Walk. To take the Zipline Tour, participants must be under 117kg - fully clothed.
