Gooree Park Wines

Horse Stud, Farm and Cellar Door

One of Mudgee’s Historic Properties

Gooree Park is one of the Mudgee Region's historic properties and has evolved over the years into a world-class thoroughbred breeding facility. Located in the central west of New South Wales, Gooree Stud was purchased by Filipino businessman Eduardo Cojuangco Jr., along with other historic properties including Cullenbone, Biraganbil, and Galambine, to create Gooree Park. Under his leadership, the property transformed into a successful enterprise.

Gooree Stud expanded from breeding thoroughbreds to raising Wagyu cattle, sheep, and crops, while also managing over 400 hectares of vineyards producing premium wines. In his later years, Eduardo’s breeding program produced five homebred stallions in a decade, with two Top 20 General Sires in Australia (Smart Missile and Hallowed Crown) and two earning First Season Sire of the Year awards (Northern Meteor and Smart Missile.)
