Making travel accessible, every step of the way

At Fun Over 50 Holidays, accessibility is built into every part of the journey — from boarding our coaches to staying in comfortable, thoughtfully chosen accommodation. Whether it’s mobility support, hearing assistance, or simply a quieter travel experience, we’ve considered the details so you can travel with confidence and ease. Explore how we’re creating inclusive holidays for all our guests.

Coach accessibility features

All Fun Over 50 Holidays coaches are designed with safety, comfort, and accessibility in mind:

  • Kneel-to-curb function: Coaches lower closer to curb height for easier boarding and disembarkation.
  • Step-tread safety: Non-slip step treads provide added stability.
  • Handrails: Sturdy handrails are installed at entry points for additional support.
  • Reserved quiet zone: A designated quiet seating area is available for guests who prefer a calm, low-stimulation environment while travelling.

Please advise our team of any assistance you may require during boarding and disembarking.

Hearing support - tour guide system

All Fun Over 50 Holidays tours include a personal tour guide audio system, making it easier for guests to hear their Tour Host and local guides clearly:

  • Individual receivers with adjustable volume.
  • Compatible with most hearing aids (advance notice required for compatibility advice).
  • Improves clarity in busy, outdoor, or large group settings.

Onboard safety video - captioning

Your safety is our highest priority. Upon boarding, all guests view a detailed onboard safety video, which features:

  • Visual demonstrations of safety procedures.
  • Closed captioned titles for guests with hearing impairments.
  • Clear, easy-to-understand instructions for all safety matters.

Accommodation accessibility

  • Room allocations: Guests with accessibility needs are assigned rooms adjacent to the Tour Host and as close as possible to main buildings or exits.
  • Supplier coordination: All accommodation partners maintain in-room emergency evacuation instructions and support accessible room configurations where available.
  • Booking notes: Specific guest needs are recorded during booking and shared with accommodation providers in advance.
