It featured elaborate architecture that blended an interesting mix of Victorian, Edwardian, and Art Deco styles. Hydro Majestic is a heritage-listed building stretching 1.1 kilometres along the edge of an escarpment in the Blue Mountains. Its rooms include Heritage Rooms and Heritage Valley View Rooms, with many featuring ornate detailing, classic furnishings, and spectacular valley vistas.
The Hotel, built in 1903, was originally the Medlow Bath Hydropathic Establishment. The following year, it opened its doors as a health retreat. In 1906, it was rebranded as the Hydro Majestic and marketed to the ‘well-to-do’ as an exclusive luxury hotel.

The Wintergarden serves the famous Hydro Majestic High Tea and a delightful dinner experience. The tour concludes in the Hydro Majestic Pavilion, with its vibrant displays of the hotel’s historic past, along with boutique and regional food and wine from the Blue Mountains region.
