We enjoy a Devonshire morning tea, explore the landscaped gardens by buggy, meet friendly farm animals, and wander through the interactive aviary. We then continue north towards Agnes Water.
This morning, we experience the unique fun of the pink amphibious LARC. Take in the highlights of Agnes Water by land and sea. Set out on a full day adventure crossing tidal creeks, sandy beaches and 4WD drive trails, as you explore the Town of 1770 and Bustard Head. Stop for lunch on Middle Island, take in the views from the Bustard Head lighthouse, then get your adrenaline pumping as you try sandboarding (optional) down the dunes of Middle Island. We then return to our hotel late afternoon for a relaxing evening. 4WD tour is not suitable for passengers with back and/or neck injury due to certain parts of the track being rugged and jerky. Local Guide Immersion & Education
Today is a travel day as we bid farewell to 1770 and head north towards Mount Larcom for a rest stop. We continue our journey through Rockhampton and onto Mackay for an overnight stop.
An early start gets us up and about before dawn to witness the wallabies and kangaroos at Cape Hillsborough National Park. This sunrise tour is an iconic wildlife experience, where Eastern Grey Kangaroos and Agile Wallabies come onto the beach to feed on mangrove seed pods. Nowhere else in the wild will you get so close, and such a wonderful opportunity to capture a magical moment of sunrise on the beach with our national symbol. Continuing our adventure, we drive along the picturesque Hibiscus Coast, enjoying the scenic views of lush rainforests, sugar cane fields, and coastal views. We arrive at Airlie Beach for lunch and free time. We then board Cruise Whitsunday's vessel for transfers to Hamilton Island, one of 74 tropical islands that make up the Whitsundays.
Enjoy a spectacular full-day jet boat tour showcasing the best of the Whitsundays, with plenty of time to experience each highlight at a relaxed pace. Take in the breathtaking views from Hill Inlet Lookout and wander along Hill Inlet Beach, where brilliant white sands and turquoise waters create an unforgettable scene. Spend up to 90-minutes snorkelling on vibrant fringing reefs, with wetsuits provided for comfort, and enjoy time at iconic Whitehaven Beach to swim, stroll, unwind, and explore. Delicious catering is included, with morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea provided throughout the day. Please note: Jet Boat tour is not suitable for passengers with back or neck injury as the semi rigid inflatable vessels are superfast offering a fun, adventurous ride.
Today is a free day on Hamilton Island, so you can choose your own pace and adventures. Take advantage of the included activities with complimentary use of catamarans, windsurfers, kayaks and stand up paddleboards, plus snorkelling equipment to explore the island's clear tropical waters. Getting around is simple with the Island Shuttle, making it easy to dip in and out of the action. This evening, we'll meet for a drink and watch the sunset, before enjoying one last dinner together. Lunch is at your own expense today.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and free time before being transferred to Hamilton Island Airport for our respective flights home. 100% Flight Carbon Emissions Offset
