Fly Carbon Neutral to Melbourne Airport where we board our luxury 'Gold Class' coach to make our way to the hub of the city and check-in for an overnight stay. Know you are travelling responsibly with all coach emissions 100% offset.
We make our way to Werribee Park Mansion and discover the story of an Australian pastoral empire. Make your way through the mansion itself as well as the stunning surrounding gardens. Afterwards, we travel to the Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre to enjoy a BBQ lunch followed by a private tour to learn about the Indigenous history and culture. Immerse yourself in activities such as boomerang throwing, traditional games, a guided walk through the native bush tucker garden and feeding of the animals. This afternoon takes us through to Lorne, stopping for a photo opportunity at the iconic and world-famous Bells Beach.
This morning we visit the Twelve Apostles for a thrilling helicopter scenic flight over London Bridge, the sandstone cliffs and Bay of Islands. After our flights, we take a short drive to lunch before heading north for a leg stretch and short stop at Ballarat and onto the RACV Goldfields Resort.
Today we explore Ballarat and learn how this sleepy settlement transformed into a bustling boomtown. We visit Sovereign Hill, where history comes to life as you pan for gold, meet characters in period costume and ride an oldfashioned stagecoach. Wander through the dusty streets past Victorian homes and stop in at old-fashioned shops like the apothecary, sweet shop or candle works and purchase unique souvenirs.

We venture on to Bendigo taking time at the Central Deborah Gold Mine. Don a hard hat and descend beneath the surface of Bendigo and walk the steps of past miners. Experience the underground conditions and learn about what was involved in unearthing 929kgs of gold. Next, we step aboard the Vintage Talking Tram for a tour of the city’s key landmarks and monuments whilst hearing about the history of the region. This afternoon we arrive in the Port of Echuca.
All aboard! Re-live the magic and romance of the riverboat days during our 1-hour paddlesteamer cruise. Meander along the mighty Murray River viewing the red gum lined riverbanks whilst listening to the hooting of the whistle and rhythmic sounds of the steam engine and paddlewheels. Back on land, we collect our local guide to take a guided tour that takes us back in time and explains the history of this port town, when hundreds of steamers raced along the Murray River. This afternoon, we travel to Albury via the town of Benalla.
Today we discover the High Country. We climb the mountain range, stopping for a cuppa in Bogong Village, before moving onto the High Plains. Here we visit the historic Wallace’s Hut, built by the Wallace Brothers in 1889 from slabs of Snow Gum, the National Trust-listed Wallace’s Hut is the oldest Cattleman’s hut remaining in the Alpine National Park. Take in sweep-views from the Great Alpine Road as we make our way through the Alpine National Park to Falls Creek for lunch. This afternoon, we take the scenic route back to Albury, stopping at Mt Beauty and Sullivans Lookout.
This morning we venture on to the pretty town of Beechworth where we collect a local heritage guide for on-coach gossip tour of the town bringing Beechworth’s history alive. Commentary features shops, hotels, hospitals, breweries, cordial factories, churches, the gold rush and Ned Kelly just to name a few. We then sample a delicious morning tea treat at the famous Beechworth Bakery before moving on via Myrtleford to Bright. Enjoy some free time here to wander the main street for some shopping. Travelling back along the Great Alpine Road, we arrive at the Red Stag and Emu Farm for lunch and time after to wander the farm and feed the deer. The afternoon sees us returning to our accommodation via Yackandandah.
Leaving Albury behind today, we travel to Glenrowan, arriving in time for a cuppa. Here we take time to discover the Glenrowan Tourist Centre, the original Ned Kelly Museum established in 1965. Housed here are many of the original Kelly and Victorian Police artefacts. Through the brilliance of live special effects and animatronic figures, you are transported to a live re-enactment of the most famous gunfight which depicts Ned Kelly’s final moments. We stay in Glenrowan for lunch before making our way to Melbourne via a short stop at Seymour.
This morning we explore the inner sanctum of the MCG, going behind-the-scenes at this iconic venue before wandering the Australian Sports Museum - no ordinary museum! After lunch we travel up high to Melbourne Skydeck on level 88 for the best views of the city.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
