Our flights arrive into Melbourne where we board our luxury 'Gold Class' coach. We leave Melbourne and travel country roads stopping for lunch at Euroa. After lunch, we make our way to the Ned Kelly Museum & Homestead for a visit, then onto Albury for an overnight stay.
Today we make our way to Corryong, home to 'The Man from Snowy River Bush Festival'. We arrive in time to witness the re-enactment of Banjo Patterson's famous poem 'The Man from Snowy River'. We then make our way to the festival and experience fabulous live entertainment, demonstrations and much more. Mid-afternoon we travel to Tumbarumba and check in to our motel. After we settle in, the coach will return to the festival for the night events.
Due to the remote region, accommodation is 55 minutes drive from the festival. Coach will make a run for those wanting to attend night events and will return each evening by 10pm.
Days 3 & 4
The Man From Snowy River Bush Festival unfolds over the next two thrilling days, celebrating Australia's bush heritage and horsemanship. The area comes alive with riders showcasing stock handling, packhorse work, bareback riding, whip cracking and cross country skills. Rodeo events light up the night with bull riding, saddle bronc and barrel racing delivering heart pounding entertainment. Festival goers will also enjoy bush poetry, live music, bush markets and a vibrant street parade. Late Sunday, we depart Corryong and make our way to Thredbo in the Kosciuszko National Park.

This morning is free for self-guided walks. Later, we take the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift to Eagles Nest Restaurant for lunch, enjoying panoramic views of Mount Kosciuszko and Thredbo village. After lunch, we return via the chairlift and enjoy the Alpine Coaster ride down a 700m track through the Thredbo wilderness.
Today, we leave the Alpine region and head to Cooma, visiting the Snowy Hydro Discovery Centre for a self-guided tour of its exhibits on the hydroelectric scheme. We then continue to Canberra for lunch at Courgette Restaurant before heading into the Southern Highlands where we check-in to our lodge.
We begin our day with a private tour and animal encounter at the Australian Wildlife Sanctuary, where you'll get an up-close experience with native wildlife. Afterwards, we head to Centennial Vineyards for a delightful two-course lunch. Following lunch, we visit the iconic Bradman Museum & International Cricket Hall of Fame, and explore the legacy of cricket before returning to Briars Country Lodge to relax for the evening.
Leaving the Southern Highlands, we embark on a scenic drive before arriving into Jamisontown. Here, we board the Nepean Belle Paddle wheeler for a leisurely lunch cruise along the tranquil Nepean River. As we glide along the river, enjoy scenic landscapes and charming waterfront homes. After a relaxing onboard lunch, we continue to Newcastle for our overnight stay.
Departing from Newcastle, we enjoy a scenic drive north before stopping at Bulahdelah. We continue our journey to Kempsey, to visit The Slim Dusty Centre. This remarkable museum celebrates the life and legacy of the legendary Australian country music icon, Slim Dusty. In the afternoon, we travel via Coffs Harbour, passing through stunning coastal scenery before reaching Grafton.
We journey home this morning via New Italy Cafe for morning tea before continuing onto Tropical Fruit World en-route to enjoy a plantation tractor tour, fruit tasting and lunch. We arrive back to the Brisbane Coach Terminal late afternoon.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
