Departing from Brisbane Coach Terminal, our luxury ‘Gold Class’ coach ensures responsible travel with 100% offset coach emissions. We break our journey by stopping at Bestbrook Mountain Resort for a Devonshire morning tea featuring freshly baked scones. Continuing the journey through serene countryside, we arrive in Warwick to collect a local guide who shares tales and highlights the town’s historic buildings. Lunch at Jamworks Gourmet Foods offers delectable dishes with the region’s finest produce. Afterward, check into your cozy motel for relaxation and preparation for the upcoming days.
Today take in the sights, sounds and tastes of the Stanthorpe Apple & Grape Festival, a vibrant celebration of local culture and bountiful harvests. Immerse yourself in the festivities, from live music to artisanal food stalls, apple and grape-themed activities, and the dazzling parade that showcases the spirit of the region. Take in the fruit-focused celebrations, you can expect to see a variety of apple and grape-themed displays such as the fabulous public grape crush, a unique and enjoyable way to celebrate the grape harvest and showcase the region’s rich winemaking heritage. One of the festival’s highlights is the grand parade, featuring colourful floats and marching bands that captures the spirit of the festival. We visit a local 100-acre apple farm where you can pick your own apples. Food and wine is plentiful, you can explore food stalls offering a wide array of culinary delights. Our day concludes with a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky.

Today is the Sunday Street Carnival where Victoria Street will be a hive of carnival activity, with street stalls, live music and roving entertainment. Enjoy the festivities at your leisure. See the local artist exhibition and wall of fruit display finishing with a live auction of the fruit wall at 3pm. Tonight gather for farewell dinner together.

After filling up on all the delectable treats and experiences Stanthorpe has to offer we head for Toowoomba to savour a delicious lunch at Picnic Point. Leaving Toowoomba, our next stop is Schulte’s Meat Tavern and Gourmet Food Market, renowned for its mettwurst, cheeses, and continental goods. We return to Brisbane Coach Terminal late afternoon.

Heron Island is a National Marine Park situated in the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef. This area is a significant nesting location for two threatened sea turtle species, the Green Turtle and the Loggerhead Turtle.
Our over 50’s tour to Heron Island is in the height of baby Green and Loggerhead Turtle hatching season. During hatching season, turtle hatchlings will erupt from their nests between 25 to 50 metres from shore and make their way to the reef, just beyond the water’s edge.

Take a Station tour and Thomson River sunset cruise. Unearth dinosaurs in Winton, Waltz with Matilda, take a station tour with insights to the land overseeing all of Queensland’s iconic outback.
Take advantage of discounted low season fares and make tracks for Longreach on the Spirit of the Outback, an historic rail journey like no other. Then delve deep into outback life visiting The Stockman's Hall of Fame, Qantas Founders Museum, Camden Park Station and a trip to the Age of Dinosaurs exhibit in Winton. We then depart the Outback and make our way to the Town of 1770 where we spend 2 nights. Take in the highlights of Agnes Water by land and sea onboard a unique LARC amphibious vehicle.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
