Our Carbon Neutral flights arrive in Canberra, where we board our opulent ‘Diamond Class’ coach, travelling responsibly knowing all coach emissions are 100% offset. Traverse through the capital city, enjoying a drive-by tour of Canberra’s International Embassies and High Commissions, followed by a delightful light lunch at the National Arboretum. The journey extends to Jamala Wildlife Lodge, where an ‘out of Africa’ experience awaits. At uShaka Lodge, a warm welcome initiates a private guided tour of the zoo, unveiling the wonders of the animal kingdom. Our destination is Thredbo Village, embraced by ski slopes and hiking trails, and home to the delightful Thredbo Alpine Hotel. Immerse yourself in the charm of this alpine haven, surrounded by nature’s beauty, promising a serene and rejuvenating retreat in the heart of the mountains.
This morning we meet up and make our way to the Kosciuszko Express Chairlift for a different kind of ascent. As you ride the Thredbo lift soak up the stunning mountain views. Here we embark on an optional self guided walk to Mount Kosciuszko Lookout, a grade 2 hike, being a gentle walk with a distance of 4klm return. We take a seat at Eagles Nest Restaurant, perched high above, and enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in the breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Kosciuszko. After lunch take a ride on the new Alpine Coaster.
Merry Christmas! This morning we will gather for a special Fun Over 50 Holidays Christmas message from your crew. Enjoy breakfast before choosing a morning at your leisure or join your hostess for the grade 2 Pipeline Path walk. A perfect 3km round trip walk for those looking for a relaxing stroll through the forest and along the Snowmakers Pond. Dress festive for our Christmas Day long lunch filled with food, friends and a jolly good time. No rush today, slow down to sip and savour Christmas delights. Tonight, we regather for a light dinner.
This morning we embark on a scenic journey to Wildbrumby Schnapps Distillery, breaking here to visit the sculpture gardens and savour in a unique tasting experience, sampling their renowned schnapps. After the flavours dance on our palates, we break for lunch. This afternoon takes us on a scenic route travelling via the Southern Highlands into Sydney.
Embark on a captivating Sydney journey exploring cultural and natural wonders. Begin with a guided tour of the iconic Sydney Opera House, a World Heritage masterpiece. Learn its fascinating history and admire its iconic sails. Extend the enchantment with a relaxing harbour cruise, relishing a gourmet lunch amid stunning views of Sydney’s harbour, including the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Enjoy a farewell breakfast before boarding a local operator’s coach where the coach captain will give an interesting gossip tour of some Sydney’s iconic area’s such as Kings Cross; Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge; visit the famous Bondi Beach; stroll around The Rocks; and take in the views from Mrs Macquarie’s Point. We are then transferred to the airport for our respective Carbon Neutral flights home.

Get ready to for the Vivid Sydney annual celebration of creativity, innovation and technology which transforms Sydney over 23 days and nights. Jump onboard our coach to experience an overnight Zoofari experience at Taronga Western Plains Zoo (Dubbo), where we witness unforgettable wildlife, immersing yourself in the wonders of the animal kingdom. Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.
Each of our tours has a fitness rating which describes the level of physical activity involved with the tour. These ratings are very important when choosing your tour to ensure it's right for you. Our fitness ratings are:
Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests. Other tour types may have different capacities depending on the transport and destination. Please get in touch with our team if you have any questions about a specific tour.
