Our carbon neutral flights arrive in Newcastle where we board our opulent ‘Diamond Class’ or luxurious ‘Gold Class’ coach, ensuring responsible travel with 100% offset flight and coach emissions. Once on-board, we collect our local guide for an on-coach town tour. Next, we enjoy lunch before we check in to our hotel, perfectly situated on the Honeysuckle Wharf precinct.
After a leisurely breakfast, we travel to the Hunter Valley. Our first stop is the stunning Hunter Valley Gardens, with time to explore its themed displays and manicured grounds. Next, we experience a wine tour with a difference — a relaxing horse-drawn carriage ride through the vineyards, complete with informative commentary and wine tasting to finish. We continue to a local winery for a delicious lunch, sampling regional produce paired with local wines. After lunch, we visit the Hunter Valley Chocolate & Fudge Factory, where you’ll enjoy a tasting plate of handcrafted treats. Following a day of indulgence, we return to Newcastle.
Depart Newcastle for a scenic coastal drive, starting with a self-guided walk along the Newcastle Memorial Walk. Continue south, taking in glimpses of Lake Macquarie, Swansea Channel, and the picturesque Central Coast. Arriving at Norah Head Lighthouse, we join a fully guided tour of this iconic maritime landmark. Choose to climb the lighthouse for stunning 360-degree views, or enjoy the informative ground-level commentary. Next, enjoy a relaxing lunch at Ocean Restaurant, Blue Bay, before making our way into the Southern Highlands, where we check in to our hotel for the evening.
Today we travel through rolling countryside to Canberra. Our first stop is the breathtaking Tulip Top Gardens, where we enjoy morning tea surrounded by ten acres of vibrant tulips, flowering cherries, and cascading blossoms — a true springtime spectacle. We continue on to Parliament House for a relaxing lunch in the Members' Dining Room, followed by a Best of Parliament House Tour, showcasing grand architecture, historic chambers, and the inner workings of Australia’s democracy. Before arriving at our hotel, enjoy a guided Embassy Drive Tour, taking in the unique architecture and cultural symbolism of Canberra’s international diplomatic district.
Enjoy a relaxed start to the day before arriving at Canberra’s Floriade, where you’ll have time to wander at your own pace through stunning garden displays, market stalls, and live entertainment celebrating spring in full bloom. We then visit the charming Cockington Green Gardens, where miniature buildings and beautifully landscaped scenes offer a delightful experience for all ages. Our final stop is the iconic Australian War Memorial. Join a guided tour to reflect on the nation’s military history, concluding with the moving Last Post Ceremony — a poignant tribute to those who served.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
