We depart from the Brisbane Coach Terminal on our luxurious ‘Gold Class’ coach, ensuring responsible travel with 100% offset coach emissions. At River Heads we board the 1pm ferry to K’gari (Fraser Island) and enjoy a poolside lunch upon arrival. Later, an exclusive Bush Tucker Talk and Taste experience allows us to enjoy the delights of island native ingredients and learn from the Chef and Resort Ranger as they explain how to cook with these. We wind down our day with sunset drinks at Jetty Hut before our welcome dinner.
Discover K’gari’s (Fraser Island’s) highlights on a full-day 4WD safari where your ranger guide shares informative commentary about the history, flora and fauna of the island. Discover the world’s largest sand island by 4WD, tackling inland bumps and humps through towering Satinay trees, abundant forest and picturesque sand dunes. Swim in pristine lakes, explore the ancient rainforest and visit iconic spots including Lake McKenzie, Eli Creek, Seventy-Five Mile Beach, Central Station, Wanggoolba Creek, and the Maheno shipwreck.

Today, celebrate Christmas the K’gari way! Begin with a festive breakfast, then enjoy a free morning to relax, stroll along the beach, or join your tour host for island bingo. For lunch, indulge in a Christmas Day feast in the Grand Ballroom, featuring fresh seafood and traditional dishes with a K’gari twist. Spend the afternoon swimming in the pool or joining in fun games. The evening wraps up with a light grazing dinner accompanied by entertainment in the Maheno Lounge.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast this morning before boarding the ferry to River Heads. From there, travel in comfort aboard our luxurious ‘Gold Class’ coach, taking a scenic route through Tuan Forest to Tin Can Bay for our farewell lunch. We arrive back to the Brisbane Coach Terminal late afternoon.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.
Each of our tours has a fitness rating which describes the level of physical activity involved with the tour. These ratings are very important when choosing your tour to ensure it's right for you. Our fitness ratings are:
Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests. Other tour types may have different capacities depending on the transport and destination. Please get in touch with our team if you have any questions about a specific tour.
