We depart from the Brisbane Coach Terminal on our luxury ‘Gold Class’ coach and travel responsibly knowing all coach emissions are 100% offset. We arrive at Bestbrook Mountain Farmstay for Devonshire morning tea. Our afternoon takes us to the Granite Belt where we taste some of the locally grown and produced wines at Ballandean Estate Winery. After lunch, we continue on to the Standing Stones in ‘Celtic’ Glen Innes, before arriving in Armidale, our home for the next 3 nights.
Today we explore Armidale, beginning at the award-winning Deano’s Smoked Trout, where we sample the products and learn about the processes behind this unique farm. At Peterson’s Winery, we wander through the English-inspired gardens to the rustic cellar door. After a guided wine tasting, enjoy lunch in the shade of the beautiful heritage gardens. Later, we join a locally guided tour of Armidale’s historic buildings, including a visit to the Regional Art Gallery and the Aboriginal Keeping Place.
Leaving Armidale for the day, our first stop is the iconic Big Golden Guitar in Tamworth. After a chance for a photo, we visit the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame to discover this unmatched collection of country music memorabilia. The rest of the day is your choice. Enjoy the talents, sights and sounds of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, including free concerts, talented buskers, bush poets, line dancing and the Fanzone Stage in the city CBD. We return to Armidale late in the afternoon.

Our short break over the Australia Day long weekend comes to an end as we travel back via the scenic Waterfall Way. We break for morning tea at Dundurrabin Community Centre before continuing on to the Scottish township of Maclean for lunch. We return to the Brisbane Coach Terminal late afternoon.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.
Each of our tours has a fitness rating which describes the level of physical activity involved with the tour. These ratings are very important when choosing your tour to ensure it's right for you. Our fitness ratings are:
Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
