Round out your stay with the Lavender Farm and a glass-bottom boat tour, finishing with the Bounty Folk Museum before flying home.

Departing Brisbane our flight arrives on Norfolk Island where we board our local tour operator coach. Upon arrival, we are welcomed to the historic island and transferred to our hotel, checking in to garden view rooms. Tonight, we gather to enjoy a welcome dinner at the resort.
After a leisurely start to the day we visit Fletchers Mutiny Cyclorama to view an amazing 360 degree panoramic painting. Next, we embark on our Island Life tour, gaining a true insight into the intricate nature of modern island living. Learn how the island generates its electricity, sources its supply of gas, and ships in petroleum products and food. Enjoy a rest or shopping afternoon before a fun night together dressed in convict attire (provided) for a ‘Night as a Convict’. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of feasting, singing, dancing and laughter!
This morning we embark on a leisurely 3.5km breakfast bushwalk tour. Traverse the picturesque Mount Bates, paying homage to Captain Cook Monument, and conclude at the stunning clifftops with a delectable breakfast barbeque. After lunch, we step back in time at the Pitcairn Settlers Village, where we visit the original Bailey homestead and wander through the museum, featuring the oldest working forge in the Pacific. Tonight we dine at the Governor’s Lodge restaurant.
Bushwalk is a Level 3 physical rating and is optional.
This morning we experience Norfolk Island like a local and explore the Sunday markets with an array of local produce and captivating arts and crafts. Next, we head to the beautiful Emily Bay, with time for a swim or a stroll along the beach. After lunch, we join a local historian for a journey through the World Heritage-listed Convict Kingston area. This immersive tour spans four settlements, tracing the island’s history from the Polynesians to the convict settlements and the legacy of the Bounty mutineers. Explore the cemetery and delve into the rich history of the Kingston convict settlements.
Today we discover firsthand the history of Norfolk Island liqueurs and rums on our Paddock to Plate tour, visiting a beekeeper’s home and a butcher’s shop, and indulging in a cooking demonstration and tasting of traditional dishes. In the afternoon, we explore the natural wonders of Norfolk Island, guided through the island’s delightful native, endemic and introduced species of trees, plants, flowers and fruits, including the iconic Norfolk Island Pine. This afternoon we enjoy the Naturally Norfolk tour, discovering the natural wonders of this beautiful island! We end the day with a delightful progressive dinner, sampling local produce at charming venues hosted by local residents.
Today we begin by visiting the magnificent home of author Colleen McCullough. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. This evening witness the sunset from one of Norfolk’s majestic western clifftops, enjoying a delightful fish fry feast of local dishes accompanied by island entertainment. After dinner we visit Kingston at nightfall for the Sound and Light Show. With the dramatic use of real life sounds, theatrical lighting and costumed actors, you will be taken through the decades of Norfolk Island’s convict era.

This morning we visit Norfolk Island’s first ever Lavender Farm. We examine 15 varieties of lavender and other commercial plantings of sage, rosemary, rose geranium, sunflowers and vegetables. The afternoon takes us to the exploration of Norfolk’s mesmerising underwater world aboard a glass bottom boat tour, offering views of vibrant marine life and stunning coral reefs (subject to tides). Tonight we come together for a delightful farewell dinner, reminiscing on our wonderful Norfolk Island adventure!
After our last hearty cooked breakfast on the island, we have time to explore the quirky Bounty Folk Museum, housed within one of Norfolk Island’s oldest shops established in 1918. We then make our way to the airport for our return flight to Brisbane. SEE YORLYE GANE!
