Saturday morning! Begin your day with a visit to the iconic Salamanca Markets, where you can explore a vibrant array of local crafts, produce, and unique treasures. Afterward, we board the coach and head to Derwent Estate Wines for a delightful winery lunch set against stunning views. We then make our way to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary for the exclusive Feeding Frenzy tour. Departing Triabunna, we travel into Freycinet National Park, arriving at the coastal town of Coles Bay. From here we cruise the stunning Freycinet National Park coastline from Coles Bay to Wineglass Bay in style in the adults-only Sky Lounge Class. Enjoy exclusive seating, private viewing deck, and premium drinks and food service. Take in the beauty of the pink granite peaks of the Hazards range and pristine white-sand beaches like Cooks and Bryans, accessible only by water or a challenging bushwalk. Explore Schouten Island’s inner passage, home to little penguins and shearwaters, before venturing into the Tasman Sea. Discover hidden sea caves, blowholes, and waterfalls along sheer granite cliffs. Experience Wineglass Bay’s breathtaking beauty from the water, with its crescent of white sand and turquoise waters. After the cruise, we rejoin the coach and travel north to the fishing village of Bicheno, visiting the iconic blowhole. The day concludes in the charming seaside village of St Helens.

Today sees us head into Cradle Mountain National Park, part of Tasmania’s UNESCO World Heritage listed Wilderness. Our first stop for today in time for a cuppa is at Sheffield, where over 150 murals line the walls throughout the town. On arrival at Cradle Mountain, our tour includes a comprehensive two-hour guided tour showcasing the unique natural features of Cradle Mountain and includes the park’s flora and fauna and marked geographical contrasts of the region. Tour highlights include Dove Lake and the majestic Cradle Mountain backdrop, Waldheim Chalet amongst the Myrtle Forests and Weindorfers Forest Walk in the cool temperate King Billy Pine Forest. The opportunity to see local wildlife including wombats, wallabies and echidna in their natural environment is also a feature of this tour. We’ll then take in the breathtaking views of the serene Dove Lake before enjoying lunch at the Cradle Mountain Hotel.

How do I book this tour?

To book this tour, all you need to do is get in touch with us. We will take your details and reserve your place over the phone. We can also answer any questions you may have and give you all the information you need.

How much luggage can I take?

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.

What do the fitness ratings mean?

Each of our tours has a fitness rating which describes the level of physical activity involved with the tour. These ratings are very important when choosing your tour to ensure it's right for you.  Our fitness ratings are:

  • 1 Easy
  • 2 Moderate
  • 3 Active/moderate
  • 4 Highly active
What is the average size of tour groups?

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests. Other tour types may have different capacities depending on the transport and destination. Please get in touch with our team if you have any questions about a specific tour.

Can you cater for my dietary requirements?

In most cases, yes we can. We can accommodate guests who are vegetarian and can assist with diabetic, gluten-free and other medically-recommended diets. Please advise us at time of booking, and we can confirm with our suppliers and restaurants.
