Fly Carbon Neutral to Adelaide where we are met and taken to Mt Lofty, the highest peak in the Lofty Ranges. From here we head to Australia’s oldest German settlement, Hahndorf, for lunch and free time to wander the main street. We then make our way into Adelaide CBD to check-in.
Taking an early ferry from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw on Kangaroo Island we meet our local guide and begin our island nature experience. At Raptor Domain we experience an ‘In-Flight’ Australian Birds of Prey Display and meet an array of Australian birds and raptors including Wedge Tailed Eagles, Osprey and Sea Eagles. For lunch we break at Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and then continue to the spectacular Seal Bay Conservation Park for a memorable guided walk along the beach which is home to a healthy Australian sea lion colony.
This morning we travel to the western section of the island and discover the remarkable Flinders Chase National Park. At Cape du Couedic we see at close range some of the 10,000 healthy long-nosed fur seals in their colony, then discover the intriguing Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. We visit over100 species of animals at the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park before enjoying lunch at Emu Bay Lavender Farm where we learn about their production. We then stop in at Clifford’s Honey Farm to see Ligurian bees in their hives, learn about the extraction process and taste some of the golden nectar including Honey Mead.
Today we witness the mesmerising spectacle of pelican feeding, where these magnificent birds gather for their daily feast. Immerse yourself in the world of oysters at the Oyster Farm shop, where we enjoy a guided tour and indulge in a delightful tasting session. We then explore the iconic Cape Willoughby Lighthouse under the guidance of knowledgeable experts, delving into its rich history and significance. Capture the breathtaking beauty of Pennington Bay during a picturesque photo stop, before we make our way back to the lodge.
This morning we transfer to Penneshaw for our ferry back to Cape Jervis, making our way to Mannumto board the Murray Princess. Tonight we moor overnight at Caurnamont.
This morning enjoy the bird life on display as we cruise upriver to Blanche town through one of 13 locks maintaining the river’s water levels. Visit Burk Salter Boutique Winery and enjoy wine tasting at the cellar door. Tonight we moor opposite to the township of Blanche town.
After breakfast we cruise downriver to picturesque Swan Reach. First settled in the 1850s, this was originally the largest of five sheep and cattle stations in the area and is now home to native flower and fruit growers. Join a walking tour and visit the Swan Reach Museum.Cruise downriver after lunch before we arrive at Sunnydale, for a Woolshed Show. Later we visit the Native Wildlife Shelter where some of South Australia’s most interesting native animals are cared for. We end the day with a great Aussie Barbecue – cooked and served in a bush setting on the banks of the mighty Murray River.
Today we cruise slowly down river past magnificent cliffs scoured by the river over millions of years. We reach Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park, one of Australia’s most significant archaeological sites, for a guided boardwalk tour to view ancient rock carvings and to learn about Aboriginal history in the area. We continue down river to Young husband for a delicious final night dinner and enjoy the evening entertainment.
We leave Young husband and head back to Mannum. After breakfast we reluctantly say farewell as we arrive at the Mannum Wharf. We board the coach and make our way to Adelaide, to enjoy an afternoon at leisure. **Lunch is at your own expense today.
Our morning starts with a city tour of Adelaide, taking in North Terrace Cultural Boulevard, the Adelaide Oval and St Peter’s Cathedral. We then head to the airport for our Carbon Neutral flights home.

Our journey begins in the vibrant city of Adelaide. From there, we'll head north to Port Augusta, a gateway to the stunning landscapes of South Australia. Leaving Port Augusta, we'll travel to the unique underground town of Coober Pedy. This opal-mining town is unlike any other, known for its fascinating underground homes and vibrant opal industry. In the evening, we'll visit the Breakaways, a striking desert landscape, to witness a breathtaking sunset. Get ready for an exhilarating adventure as we embark on a scenic flight from Coober Pedy to William Creek. We take to the skies once again for a mesmerizing scenic flight over Kati Thanda Lake Eyre, with a stop off at Anna Creek Station, where you'll be treated to drinks and canapés. Then we'll journey to Wilpena Pound for a two-night stay. Our adventure concludes as we head back to Adelaide.
This epic adventure heads into the heart of the Red Centre starts with 1 night in Adelaide before travelling overnight in Gold Service onboard the mighty Ghan. Enjoy a night in Alice Springs visiting the West MacDonnell Ranges, then see the wonders of Uluru with 3 nights at Yulara including the stunning Sounds of Silence dinner. Re-board the Ghan for another night before finishing with 1 night in Darwin.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
